Grief Recovery for Professionals in Social Services

This is a closed group that is available only to individuals working in social service settings. The intent is to provide a safe space for providers to process grief and loss that they may have experienced both professionally and personally. This 8-week program meets on Thursdays from 6:00-8:00pm in person in Findlay.

People say you have to let go and move on in your life, but they don’t tell you what you need to do to accomplish that. The Grief Recovery Method: Grief Support Group not only makes that possible, but provides partnerships and guidance to ensure that it happens.

This eight-week program creates a safe environment in which to look at old beliefs about dealing with loss; to look at what losses have affected your life; and to take action that leads to completion of pain attached to one of those losses.

This program is facilitated by Grief Recovery Specialists certified by the Grief Recovery Institute and uses The Grief Recovery Handbook. The group is provided at no cost, and materials will be provided to program participants.
