When individuals or families are in distress, having quick access to the right connections is essential for stabilization. The No Wrong Door philosophy is an approach that ensures individuals seeking help — whether for mental health, substance use, physical health, or social services — can access the care they need regardless of where they first enter the system. In other words, every door is the right door. These “warm hand-offs” cut down on outreach attempts, and help to reduce frustration and obstacles for those seeking support.
