5 Tips For Kids Over Summer Break
Summer break is here, and although super exciting to take a break from all the hard work dedicated to school, summer comes with some pretty big changes for you and your parents! So how can we manage some of the anxiety around this transition? Here are some tips that may help!
1. Keep a routine! Now we’re not saying you need to keep getting up at 6AM but staying on a bit more of a routine can really help with staying motivated throughout the summer!
2. Go outside! The vitamins the sun offers us can naturally boost our mood and make us feel better. Even a small amount of time outside can make a big difference!
3. Spend time with your family! There are lots of local things you can do together like go to a park, museum, take a walk, and so many others!
4. Spend time with your friends! Social media can be cool at times but see if there are ways to connect in person!
5. Talk to your parents! If you’re feeling down and just not sure who to tell, your parents are a great first step to help!
